I can't be there but Williams Park would be a good spillover, it's even a larger area. The more crowd, the smaller will appear to be a BIG crowd!!!!!

Goar Park is tucked in the interior of UP. It's not very visible and parking would be a nightmare. How about someplace more visible, but nearby with parking. How about NorthPark Mall's parking lot?
